A bit gruesome, but with a sympathetic protagonist and great writing this is well worth the read. If you are an audio book fan, I highly recommend the audio version. The narrator is fabulous!
Really enjoyed this latest addition to the Jim Chee/Bernie Manuelito/Joe Leaphorn series. Bernie is exploring the Bears Ears National Monument to clear her head after being disappointed in not getting a promotion while Jim has some business meetings. Bernie stumbles on some suspicious activity in the area and chaos ensues. (It's more fun to read what happened in the book, then read what I say.) Chee gets pulled into investigations of the deaths of a couple people, which relates back to the suspicious activity that Bernie noticed.
This may be the last in this series with Ruth Galloway and DCI Nelson!!??? It is a good mystery.
Another GREAT book from Jane Harper. I'm so jealous of anyone who hasn't read it yet. Once again Harper will keep you guessing until the end of the book.
The many layers of the characters and the story made this a good mystery and an interesting book.
A great debut mystery that takes place in a Muslim community near Denver.
Set in India in 1919. Very interesting characters and interesting information about the British government.
Albeit a tome, it is worth the read because of the full development of the characters and the social issue. I have enjoyed reading all of her books.
