Local legends Jane Lindholm and Melody Bodette, creators of the wildly popular But, Why! podcast for curious kids, are coming to Middlebury on Sunday, July 10 to perform their LIVE! stage show and introduce their new series of books for kids. This event, co-sponsored by VPR and Town Hall Theater, and in association with us, the Vermont Book Shop, is set to be THE kid event of the summer. There will be FOOD! and LLAMAS! Tickets are $10. The Stage Show
Do you want to know why goats have square eyes? Why pigs' tails are curly? Or why horses sleep standing up? The creators of the internationally popular kids podcast But Why, from Vermont Public Radio, have the answers! But Why: Live! takes audiences on a barnyard romp. Kids in the audience will learn about all kinds of farm animals as they get to choose which questions get picked. They'll even learn some really fowl language!
