Poet-artist Bianca Stone will present her newest book, A Little Called Pauline, the first picture book adaptation of a poem from Gertrude Stein’s groundbreaking 1914 book Tender Buttons and features Stone's vibrant illustrations.
We invite young readers to experience Stein’s playful, mysterious language for the very first time and to delight in a girl named Pauline who lives with her mom in a house on stilts by the sea.
Saturday, April 11, 4 – 5 p.m.
This event for adults and children alike will include a read-aloud storytime, art and craft inspired by Stone's book and light refreshments!
