The beautiful literary fairytale begun in The Bear and the Nightingale continues with the enchanting Girl in the Tower. The story barrels on, as the strong and daring Vasya, battling the deep winter of Moscow and the surrounding forests, heedlessly plunges, headstrong and untamed, choosing good over evil, right over wrong. The story gallops forward, like a wild stallion. The writing in a feast for the senses. with danger, deception and trickery at every turn. This second in a series will leave readers breathlessly waiting for the next!
Following her acceptance to Middlebury College, Katherine Arden deferred enrollment for a year in order to live and study in Moscow. At Middlebury, she specialized in French and Russian literature, taking eight months to study abroad in Paris and another eight months in Moscow. After receiving her BA magna cum laude, Arden lived and worked in Maui, Hawaii, and France. She currently lives and writes in Brandon.
