Peter Zheutlin presents Rescued to Benefit Homeward Bound

Peter Zheutlin, freelance journalist and bestselling author (Rescue Road), will present his new book, Rescued; What Second-Chance Dogs Teach Us about Living with Purpose, Loving with Abandon, and Finding Joy in the Little Things, Thursday, October 19, 7 p.m. at the Vermont Book Shop

Presented in partnership with Homeward Bound, Addison County’s Humane Society.

 Joining Zheutlin will be Jesse Freidin, one of America’s leading fine art dog photographers, will speak about the role of shelter volunteers in the rescue process and also raffle off one of his prints and/or a book. The event will also feature a slide show by the author, including images of Freidin’s photographs. Raffle proceeds and a portion of the book sales proceeds will directly benefit Homeward Bound and animals in need plus we are asking people to take a look at their online wish list: HERE and bring donations and/or donate cash.

It promises to be a lively, informative evening!
