We are very fortunate to have the author of this debut novel willing to join us in discussing her book. Rebecca Makkai is a Bread Loaf School of English alum and part-time Leicester resident. Her book THE BORROWER is the story of a children's librarian who runs away with her favorite 10-year old patron. The New York Times called it, "An appealing, nonromanitic love story about an unexpected pairing - and a surprisingly moving one."
